Try-out Our Grandmother's Recipe for Home-made Ghee
1) Boil the Dhanashree Milk and collect the cream for over 20 – 25 days in a jar. Store the cream in the freezer. Gradually the cream collected will start separating from the water. 2) The day you wish to prepare Ghee, take the collected cream out of the freezer and allow it to reach room temperature. Churn the collected cream in a food processor. This will help to separate milky water (or whey) and solid butter. 3) Transfer the butter into a deep pan and heat it over a medium flame. Now once you see bubbles, lower the flame. 4) After some time, dark colored solid will settle down and ghee will be visible at the surface. Turn off the gas. Use a strainer or cotton cloth to collect Ghee in a separate container. Now, you have healthy home-made and unadulterated Dhanashree Ghee ready!
